Little Marcus is a small studio making calm, kind stories for the youngest children and the grown-ups who love them.
Why we started
Toddler screen time is often loud, fast and forgettable. We wanted the opposite: two quiet minutes that leave a child calmer than before, and give their parent something to say in the hard moments.
Why Marcus Aurelius
Marcus Aurelius was a Roman emperor who wrote a notebook to himself, now known as Meditations. It is full of plain advice about patience, kindness and starting again. His name is also our hero’s name: Little Marcus is a curly-haired two-year-old learning those same lessons at breakfast, at the park and at bedtime.
How the stories are made
Every story begins with one line from Meditations, turned into a real toddler moment. We write each story, then bring it to life with digital watercolour painting and animation tools, including AI. A person reviews every page, every line and every voice before anything is published.
